S4 Thinner for DICROM Solvent-Based Tintometric System

The S4 Thinner is a key component of the DICROM solvent-based tintometric system, designed for use in the automotive refinishing sector. This premium thinner ensures optimal application and performance of DICROM basecoats, offering excellent levelling and fast drying properties to meet the high standards of quality in the automotive industry.

  • Specific Gravity: 10-11 Kg/l at 20°C.
  • Recommended Dry Film Thickness: 7-10 µm per coat.
  • Efficiency: 10-13 m²/l undiluted, 6-8 m²/l diluted per coat.
  • Application temperature range: < 18°C to > 25°C, adjusted for environmental conditions.

Application Guidelines

Ensure proper surface preparation and compatibility with DICROM primers and clearcoats. The thinner is versatile across a range of temperatures, with different variants like S-414 (Slow) and S-412 (Standard) to accommodate specific environmental and application needs.

Safety and Handling

Follow all safety guidelines as outlined in the Safety Data Sheet. Ensure usage in well-ventilated areas and store in compliance with recommended conditions to maintain product integrity.

Storage and Shelf Life

Store between +5°C and +30°C, away from direct sunlight. When stored as recommended, S4 Thinner has a shelf life of 18 months in its original unopened packaging.
